Family Medicine Welcome Event: Tips for a Successful Experience
Teaching Year 1 and 2 Medical Students in Family Medicine? Explore practical strategies for teaching undergraduate medical students in Family Medicine clinical settings. This session will help preceptors clarify Year 1 and Year 2 learner expectations, build strong educational alliances, foster clinical skills and reasoning, and incorporate effective teaching into busy clinical practice.

Clinical Skills Teaching: Strengthening Facilitation and Learner Engagement in Larger Small Groups
This faculty development session for VFMP clinical skills tutors focuses on practical strategies for facilitating larger small-group sessions. Participants will explore approaches to optimize teaching time, enhance learner engagement and professionalism, and support the development of clinical reasoning skills in early-stage medical learners.
